Summary
SiteAlert provides website monitoring based on your selected plan. Alerts and checks are helpful, but they cannot be guaranteed to be error-free or uninterrupted. Users must use the service responsibly. Payments and subscriptions are handled securely via Paddle.
1. Introduction
Welcome to SiteAlert. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. SiteAlert is provided through usesitealert.com. SiteAlert may update these Terms when needed, and the latest version will be available on this page.
2. Services
SiteAlert offers website monitoring services, including uptime checks, response time monitoring, incident tracking, email alerts, WhatsApp alerts, and public status pages where included in your plan. We strive to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee 100% uninterrupted operation, measurement accuracy, or alert delivery.
3. Subscriptions and billing
SiteAlert is a subscription-based SaaS product. Payments and subscription billing are processed via Paddle. Plans may include limits such as monitored websites, check intervals, email alerts, WhatsApp alerts, public status pages, and incident history.
You can cancel your subscription anytime. After cancellation, access usually continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy. For billing, cancellation, or refund help, contact support@usesitealert.com.
4. Monitoring, alerts, and status pages
Monitoring checks run according to the selected plan and configured check interval. Incident history, alert limits, and public status pages also depend on the selected plan.
Alerts may be delayed, missed, or blocked by third-party providers, email systems, WhatsApp delivery, DNS, hosting, internet issues, or other external factors outside SiteAlert's control. You are responsible for how you share, brand, or present public status pages to clients or visitors.
5. User obligations and acceptable use
You are responsible for correctly configuring the websites to be monitored and for keeping your account and contact information up to date. You may only monitor websites that you own, manage, or have permission to monitor.
You may not use SiteAlert for abuse, illegal activity, excessive load, scraping, attacks, spam, or misuse of the service. SiteAlert may restrict or suspend access if the service is misused or if usage creates risk for the platform or other users.
6. Privacy and personal data
We process personal data and monitoring data as described in our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand what data we collect and how it is used.
7. Liability
SiteAlert is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to missed notifications, incorrect measurements, delayed alerts, temporary unavailability of the platform, or decisions made based on monitoring results.
8. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
